The Aloft New Orleans Downtown is located in the heart of the New Orleans Central Business District. The 225 Barrone building, left vacant after Hurricane Katrina, was renovated in accordance with the Secretary of Interior’s standards for historic preservation. This building was at one time the tallest building in New Orleans. This 30-story downtown office building and has been converted into apartments and an Aloft Boutique Hotel. The Aloft New Orleans Downtown is the first Aloft hotel to open in Louisiana.
